I'm glad it had an overall positive response, and I'm here to spread further word for the game as a whole in regards to tanking. My statements still ring accurate re: I am still not a fan of Warrior's current design for many reasons. Needless to say I was very surprised with the results that we've found. Granted, these results are on a 6-minute Patchwerk-esque fight with near perfect play, but they are still incredibly impressive for how close they are. My main concern with these results is that they are not telling of what actually happens in a fight, or how powerful certain tanks are in certain situations.
As we have seen throughout the current week, Warrior is incredibly strong in a multitude of situations , due to how Inner Release now operates. I personally am not a fan of this design, and I hope that others will have the same grievances. Obviously, it's incredibly fun to unload and destroy everything in sight. Can't seem to figure out which way to allocate stat for the WAR. Or is VIT always better? Just confused at this point It's really not a mixed bag. Fundamentally the Warrior class is based on Defiance which leverages your VIT score to be even better while simultaneously reducing the effectiveness of your strength on damage.
STR gives a little bit more damage, enmity, and parrying reduction. Enmity isn't an issue, damage isn't your job, and the parrying reduction amounts to an insignificant amount of mitigation. Now, it is EVEN better. There is no discussion, for tanking, VIT is superior.

If you don't realize how good damage reduction is for a tank I use melded Gryphonskin accessories for My VIT set exists purely on the off chance it'll be useful in 2. I'm keeping my points in VIT for the time being, but if you don't go in for melded accessories I could see a pretty strong argument for STR allocation.
